The fulfillment status as Out Of Sync indicates there is an inventory discrepancy.
This status can be triggered by one of these reasons:
- Order update while awaiting tracking details, such as item qty or customer address. The fulfillment is reversed and the status updates to Out Of Sync.
A note is added to the Notes Card detailing the condition that triggered the fulfillment reversal.- Validate there is inventory within SKU to fulfill. If not, review the current inventory and perform adjustments as needed
- Fulfill the order
- Order was fulfilled externally, within a Sales Channel.
- If the order was fulfilled before the Inventory Start Date, a button should appear on the Sales Order: Sync Sales Order Fulfillment With Sales Channel.
- Select the button Sync Sales Order Fulfillment With Sales Channel
- Add the details for the fulfillment
- Once set, Externally Fulfilled notice should appear
- If the order was fulfilled after the Inventory Start Date, the order should be fulfilled in SKU as well
- Validate there is inventory within SKU to fulfill. If not, review the current inventory and perform adjustments as needed
- Add fulfillment
- If the order was fulfilled before the Inventory Start Date, a button should appear on the Sales Order: Sync Sales Order Fulfillment With Sales Channel.
