Assemble / Disassemble Kit Products

Kit products can't be purchased, the inventory becomes available once it is assembled from the existing inventory items.

To create an Assembly, the kit sku must exist within sku.io. Ensure the sku is product type kit

There are two ways to access the Assemble / Disassemble section:

• Kit Product drawer > Inventory > Actions panel

• Inventory section > Inventory Assemblies > Create Assembly

Create Inventory Assembly

1. Select Create Inventory Assembly

2. Select the Warehouse

3. Select the date (by default it is set for the current day)

4. Open Select Kit Product

   • Search for Kit to Assemble, and several sections proving context will appear

     • Component impact: details the standard item deduction or increase once the assembly/disassembly is created. 

     • Existing kits: displays the inventory available of the kit per warehouse

     • Potential kits: shows the component inventory available to create as a kit per warehouse

5. Switch between Assembly / Disassembly if needed

6. Add Qty (limited to the qty of components available in chosen warehouse)
