Transfer items between warehouses

Plan your fulfillment strategy and relocate within warehouses as deemed fit.

Configure Shipping method for Warehouse Transfers

Access Settings > Inventory > Warehouse Transfers

Initiate item transfer from the Product details

While viewing the product inventory, some might be best in a different warehouse.

In the Product’s Inventory section, select Transfer from the Actions panel.

Initiate item transfer from Inventory

Within the Inventory section, select Warehouse Transfers.

Create the Warehouse Transfer 

1. Select the Origin and Destination Warehouses

2. Update the Shipping method and expected dates

3. Add products and quantity (can be done via CSV, with the columns: sku, quantity)

4. Save

Transfer inventory - Set as In Transit

This creates a shipment for this Transfer. 

The inventory is deducted from the originating warehouse and this inventory is set as in transit.

Receive items

When the items arrive at the warehouse they should be received from the Receipt Card.

The Receipt Card allows multiple receipts, in case there are multiple shipments.

Once all items are received, the Warehouse Transfer will appear as Closed.
