Inventory forecasting

Use the inventory forecasting tool to speed the creation of purchases based on previous sales.

The forecasting parameters are the Days of Sales History and Target Days of Stock which are set in Settings > Inventory > Settings Forecasting

The input for the forecast is run once per day and it considers the available, inbound, and in-transit stock.

The forecasting parameters can be updated to reflect different time frames for either the Days of Sales History and/or Target Days of Stock. If updated, refresh the Purchase Order suggestions on the top right.

Purchase Order Suggestions are grouped by Supplier. When creating a Purchase Order from the supplier's section, it will include all selected items, and the default warehouse will be assigned as the destination. The items and destination can be modified in the Purchase Order. 

Note: Suggestions are grouped only by Supplier. Further groupings by Supplier Brands are not considered yet
